Broome County Rabbit Breeders expand Ithaca show for 2011

ITHACA, NY (March 9, 2011) — Broome County Rabbit Breeders will be hosting a double Open and Youth show for both rabbits and cavies on Saturday June 6, and may expand it to Sunday as well.

" We have 12 judges signed up for rabbits and 2 for cavies." said a spokesperson via e-mail. Camping is available at the site for Friday and Saturday. On Friday during set-up the club is having a pizza party and a campfire in the evening where campers can have time to visit with fellow exhibitors.

Following Saturday's show the club will sponsor an "after show party" where alcohol will be allowed for those over the legal age. " We will also be doing a pass a dish supper on Saturday along with a campfire," said the spokesperson.

Sunday's events include a plant swap. Club officials are looking into possibly holding another show on Sunday and will release the information once a decision has been made. # # #
